Points reset every day, week and month — season 0 is a test season.
ProStriker uses the ELO system known from chess. Every player starts with the same rating; after each ranked match the winner takes points from the loser, and beating a stronger opponent pays more than beating a weaker one. How much a single game moves you depends on your experience: for your first 30 matches the factor is high (K=40) so a new account quickly finds its level, up to 200 matches it drops to K=24, and from then on K=16 keeps an established rating stable.
Every online 1v1 game is ranked — whether it came from the matchmaking queue or from a private room you shared with a friend. When the queue can't find you a human opponent, a bot steps in: that game counts for your rating too, but bots themselves never appear in the leaderboards.
The exact formula with worked examples is in the ELO chapter of the guide.
A few guardrails keep the ranking honest. Between the same pair of players only the first three matches a day are rated — the rest still count for history and XP, but not for ELO, so points can't be farmed with a friendly account. Matches flagged as suspicious are never rated. The weekly champions table above celebrates the best players of each week — finish a week on top and you stay there for good.
